On February 7th, West High students attended the Briar Cliff Business & Mass Communications Career Day at the Tyson Events Center. During the event, the students were able to learn about different areas of business including strategy, promotions, and execution from local Siouxland professionals. The Oak View Group discussed Budgeting and Financial Planning, Marketing Strategy, Graphic Design, Media Production, Mass Communications and Event Logistics processes through their business lens. Students were able to tour the Tyson Event Center and Wells Fargo arena from luxury seating to the Muskateers locker rooms and learn more about the behind-the-scenes process of event scheduling, planning and execution.
Thank you to WHS Business teacher, Mrs. Tiffany Stephens, for organizing this opportunity for our students!!!
