“Over the years, I have observed remarkable individuals that strive to make SCCSD a district where we Believe…Achieve…and Succeed… During unprecedented times, Rebecca Rieken took on a new position as the WHS head principal and prepared for the return to school without tiring or taking a break. She is consistently available for the WHS staff and students. The greeting staff received when we came back was kind, gracious, and welcoming. She uses praise liberally and truly embodies the Welcoming, Engaged, Safe, and Trustworthy mantra of We are WEST. Rebecca models hard work, determination, and the desire to go the extra mile for all of the students that we serve! It is evident that Rebecca puts every ounce of herself into being the best educator she can be, and we at WHS, want to thank her!”
